Short Biography
Shaorong Wang, Professor of China University of Mining and Technology (CUMT). He graduated from Dept. of Chemistry, Chengdu Univ. of Science & Technology in 1986 and got a Master degree of Physical Chemistry,and then worked there for more than 8 years. In 1994, he went to Japan to study Solid Oxide Fuel Cells (SOFC), under the supervision of Professor H. Tagawa and M. Dokiya. Wang got his PhD degree in 1998. He worked in AIST and Nihon University for two years separately, and returned to China in 2003. Wang has been the group leader of SOFC research in Shang Institute of Ceramics, Chinese Academy of Sciences for over ten years. In 2016,Shaorong Wang moved to CUMT, to continue his research on SOFC/EC. With his 25 years’ experience of SOFC research, he has applied 43 patents and published over 148 papers in the field of SOFCs up to now.
