Short Biography
Prof. WANG Shixue, received his master degree from Tianjin University in 1989, and received Ph.D from Yokohama National University, Japan, in 2002. He had worked in Yokohama National University as an assistant professor during 2002-2004, and in Fuel Cell Laboratory of Nissan Motors Co. Ltd. as researcher during 2005-2007. And, he working in Tianjin University as a professor from 2008. The research interest mainly focuses on water management and cold start in polymer exchange membrane fuel cell, battery thermal management, thermoelectric generation using waste heat, and phase change heat transfer.
Recent projects include “Study of water management and low temperature start-up of fuel cell stack in bus application” (Chinese-Japan International Cooperation Program), and” On highly effective thermoelectric conversion of engine exhaust waste heat” (National Natural Science Foundation of China)
