Short Biography

Mr. Aoki obtained his Master of Science degree in 2002 at Kyoto University, and started his career at Toray Research Center. Inc, (TRC) in 2002 as a member of Raman and FTIR Group. Since 2005, he has started the analysis of battery related materials for lithium ion battery (LIB) and Polymer Electrolyte Fuel Cells (PEFC). From 2014, he was the leader of LIB analysis group in TRC and has proceeded some collaborations with universities, and national labs in Japan.

Mr. Aoki’s key expertise is characterization and degradation analysis of LIB and PEFC related materials and technical developments for the various kinds of in situ measurements using laser Raman spectroscopy.
